Missing Motorcyclist Zachary DeMoss Last Seen in Kooskia

Authorities Continue Search for Missing Rider

Zachary DeMoss, a 24-year-old motorcyclist from Victor, Idaho, has been missing since Sunday, August 13, 2024, after last being seen in the Kooskia area.

DeMoss was traveling with friends Devlin Zarn and another individual on a Western states motorcycle trip when he vanished.

According to the Idaho County Sheriff's Office, DeMoss was last seen at a Kooskia gas station around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. He contacted his fellow riders and gave them a head start, saying he would catch up later.

His motorcycle was later found abandoned near mile marker 10 on U.S. Highway 12, about 15 miles east of Kooskia.

The search for DeMoss is ongoing, with both the Idaho County Sheriff's Office and the Missoula County Sheriff's Office involved.
